Issue: Expanding Conditions Making a Player Eligible for IR ReplacementThis poll will remain active for 1 week from the time it is posted.
A ' YES' vote means Any player that has been marked with a red flag under availability status in Fantrax is eligible for IR Replacement. Expected Effects - With no transaction costs to return a player from an IR designation, GMs will not need to use as many weekly transactions.
- This is especially helpful with short term conditions, including illnesses and Covid.
- No other change will be made to the number of weekly transactions.
NOTE: This is part of the rule change that implemented ad hoc during the 2021 season
A ' NO' vote means The eligibility requirements in the IR Replacement rules will remain unchanged dynastyhockey99.proboards.com/thread/7390/ir-replacement

This would codify the IR change we had during the season last year, and I'm sure if we run into major Covid issues we can still add weekly transactions as needed.

Should world events impact the NHL's ability to play games like we saw with COVID, I can always temporarily adjust the max transaction count mid-season should it be deemed necessary by the league.

With a 10-2 vote in favour, any player that has been marked with a red flag under availability status in Fantrax will now be eligible for IR Replacement. This is how things were operating in the 2021 season, and will now be codified officially for the upcoming 2022 season.
