I'm going to stream one game between my team and each playoff team between now and the start of the playoffs but only if the owner of the team that I'll be playing is available to watch. The point would be to allow you to see your team on the ice and see if there's any changes you want to make to your roster before the games count for real. Things like which hand your players shoot with, whether a line is getting pushed around too much or is too slow, a goalie that just doesn't mesh well, adjustments to special teams, etc. will become a LOT clearer after seeing your team actually on the ice in a game. I'll use my team as the opponent so you don't get a scouting report on how you match up against a fellow playoff team.
So please let me know when you're available to watch your team play and I'll try to make it happen at that time and will give you a heads up in advance. The first four teams I'll need to show are the quarterfinalists so Haukiputaan, Morweena, Nebraska and Oslo. After that I'll show a game against Moscow and Simi Valley next week.

If anyone knows of a way to record the games off Twitch for archive purposes or for those that can't watch live, please let me know.

I would like to take you up on your offer
I read that franchise mode places a lot of importance on line chemistry (can add or deduct ratings totals) and coaching - are either of these relevant in playoff mode?

I got time now and same time tomorrow night Unfortunately those times don't work for me. Here's the times I have available: Wednesday - None Thursday - 3am PT - 4pm PT (game would have to be completed by 4pm PT) Friday - 3am PT - 4pm PT (game would have to be completed by 4pm PT) Saturday - 3am PT - Noon PT (game would have to be completed by noon PT due to start of playoffs)

Those are not relevant in this mode. I'll be playing individual games, not even a playoff series, and we'll keep track of the results on our own so chemistry is not relevant at all beyond the way the guys play together in the simulation. No impact on their ratings before the game due to their linemates, no.

I think the six playoff teams are really going to enjoy this. It's a kick to watch the team you've built come to life and play a game, even if it's a virtual one. Watching a guy you drafted or signed for his hits light someone up with a big hit is very satisfying. Seeing a sniper you acquired score a pretty goal will make you cheer. I really hope at least one of the series goes to a seventh game. That would be some drama right there, even though this is just for fun.
Looking forward to getting it going and appreciate the feedback, interest and cooperation so far.

Guys,
I highly recommend you check your player's stats. I originally had Gustafsson in my lineup and because I only had 6 dmen to choose from I had him on my second PK unit. After checking his stats I saw that he averaged less that 15 seconds of PK per game for the year. I have since replaced Gustafsson on my team with Filip Hronek who has averaged almost 3 minutes of PK time. I believe stuff like that matters so plan accordingly.

If anyone knows of a way to record the games off Twitch for archive purposes or for those that can't watch live, please let me know. There IS a way to do this on Twitch. I've seen other people do it a ton. I personally don't know how to though. That would be very handy, as you can essentially go back and watch a part of a broadcast at any time later. Could be very helpful for Sami, for instance, if he can't match his schedule up with a Pacific Timezone live broadcast. Anyone with Twitch experience have any insight?

I will text my son. He's a twitch Master as he records his esports matches for his college team. I will see what I can find out.

Updated my lines. Major overhaul. New version here, in the official roster thread, and on the spreadsheet.

Boy Wonder strikes again....
Go to "Settings" which is in the drop down Menu when you click on your profile in the upper right corner. Then, you will see a heading for "Channels and Videos". Click on that and on that page there will be an option for "Store Past Broadcasts". Click on that and our games will be stored for up to 14 days. It's 60 days if it's affiliated with Prime. If not there is a way of downloading the broadcast and then uploading them to YouTube.
