Does Morweena/Alex even know this is a thing? I need his roster and then I can get started.

Would it be beneficial to put a deadline for rosters to be submitted on the Roster Thread? I am super bumped to have a beer and watch hockey again with true emotional commitment.

Game #1 of the quarterfinals will be Saturday - time TBD.
1st- Haukiputaan vs. Oslo 2nd - Morween vs. Nebraska
The games will be using the following settings:
- NHL Rules - 20 minute periods - Superstar Difficulty - Camera angle "zone" (I've toyed around with a few options and this is the one I feel best shows the action while also giving you perspective of the ice) - Continuous OT - Injuries are on (if you get a player injured that'll impact that game only) - Penalties - Fighting is on
If you have any other questions, let me know.

For 4 man PP - Is it W-C, or C-W? I see Adam went C-W, while others went W-C?
Sames for PK - I think Paul went W-C for 4m pp, but then C-W for PK
Can Doug or someone else with NHL20 confirm how that shows up in game?

Hoping for a noon PT start to the first game on Saturday. Second game would follow after a brief break.
Again, these will be best-of-seven series so I hope to sim two games per day, per series. We'll see how it goes and how my schedule works.

About to do a test run if you want to watch. Game will be between my team and Paul's because that's all I have set up at the moment. I'll show settings, you can see gameplay and viewing angle and ask questions in the chat. I'm Hawkgirl007 on Twitch.

Just missed it. What was the outcome on special teams alignment?

Sames for PK - I think Paul went W-C for 4m pp, but then C-W for PK Can Doug or someone else with NHL20 confirm how that shows up in game? The way I set it up was right (I spent a lot of time in NHLXX in the past, so I guess it was just instinct for me, haha). For special teams, the first forward you list will line up for the faceoff. The second forward will be a winger. About to do a test run if you want to watch. Game will be between my team and Paul's because that's all I have set up at the moment. I'll show settings, you can see gameplay and viewing angle and ask questions in the chat. I'm Hawkgirl007 on Twitch. I tuned in for the test run. It was really cool, and I think this is going to be a lot of fun, guys. You can find Doug's channel here: Twitch LinkYou can watch the live broadcast there when it's going, without registering an account. If you register an account though, you can follow his channel (the heart icon at the top), and even set notifications for it (the bell icon), so you'd be sent a message when any broadcast starts. The settings Doug has chosen seem good. He did a few different camera angles, and the main decision seems to be to either go with an overhead-view (like you would generally play the game with), or a side-view (like you would see when watching a game on TV). It's really just personal preference, but I personally preferred the broadcast style angle. I watched predominantly on my PC (in the browser at the link above), but was also able to download the Twitch app on my Smart TV and watch it there. Both worked well, but tuning in on the PC let me be really active in chat, while watching on TV made communicating REALLY tough. I realized after that I could have probably downloaded the Twitch app on my phone or a tablet and typed easier that way, but I didn't actually get a chance to try it. Alternatively, I did set up a voice channel on a Discord server for the Corona Cup, where we could talk to each other live, if people wanted to do that. That can be found here: discord.gg/dGU3mt (link expires in 1 day, so if you need a new one let me know). That being said, there IS a delay on Twitch between the broadcaster and the viewers that just won't be able to be avoided, so Doug would be ahead of all of us no matter what. It should be cool though, watching each game and seeing how you should adjust your lines. There will be unseen chemistry that makes itself obvious during the game and such. Doug has said he's up for making adjustments between games.
