St. Roch Hawks, Morweena Reimnoceri, and 2 more like this

Hey everyone,
In an effort to cut down my time managing this league, I have a request of everyone in the league...
Some of you may have noticed that I edit the formatting of nearly every post that you guys make (whether that be just the Subject, or the body as well). I know it might seem a little overboard and A-type, but I assure you, there's a reason for it: Record keeping/searching.
I edit preventatively, in case something needs to be verified down the road, like if there's a clerical error or something else of the sort that needs to be resolved. For example, this past month there was an issue with the ownership of a specific draftpick that I needed to resolve while building the 2021 draft boards. It took me about 2 hours to do the detective work and find the posts for the original trades that had taken place over a year prior. Part of the reason it took so long was because the trades weren't formatted the same or even properly. Now, I try to reformat every transaction myself, but 1) That always adds an extra step or two to EVERY transaction made here, and 2) Evidently I miss it sometimes, especially when things are especially busy, like on a deadline day or the Sunday night match-up rollover.
So, I ask you all to please try and follow the same format across the board for your transactions. Some people already do, and I thank you for it. Others all have different ways, and rarely are they the same between different managers. In order to help you guys along with this, I've redone all the example threads in the TRANSACTIONS section of the boards and updated all the templates so we can all just copy/paste from those if need be:
Roster Moves:
dynastyhockey99.proboards.com/post/26852/thread
Injury Replacements:
dynastyhockey99.proboards.com/post/26853/thread
Trades:
dynastyhockey99.proboards.com/post/26851/thread
Terminations:
dynastyhockey99.proboards.com/post/26854/thread
In most cases, your browser will remember your formatting and automatically enter it when you're starting a new thread, so if you get it right the first time, it'll get it right for you every time. So as we're entering a new season, it's a great time to get that sorted early.
When in doubt, just check a recent post of the same type, and copy that same formatting. If I've already gotten to it, it'll most likely be the right formatting.
Thank you everyone, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me about it!
