Consider this my annual push to have the DHL offseason mirror that of the NHL as much as possible.
The NHL Draft Lottery is April 9th. Any reason ours can't be around the same time? For those of us not playoff bound it'll have been more than a month since we've had anything to do in this league and that would set the table for the offseason and give us plenty of time to analyze our options and talk trade.
The NHL Draft is June 26th-27th. Any reason ours can't begin the following week, or shortly after July 4th? By early July we'll all have been off for three full months or more and it would be nice to carry the momentum of the NHL Draft into our league while the Draft and analysis of the "experts" is still fresh in our minds. Plus we'd be holding ours after NHL Free Agency begins so we'd have a good idea of who will be playing where in 2020-21.
I'm not suggesting free agency begin anywhere near July 1st as I think we're fine beginning in early September once we're closer to camps opening up.
Just a suggestion to try and spread the wealth of the offseason out a bit and keep us all as engaged as possible without having too big of a gap between things to do.

Draft Lottery - if the playoffs are finished, I would like to see this
Draft Dates - Up to everyone else.
FA - sooner the better
Overall - i agree with spreading the wealth

I have no preference on dates for anything so I'm good with whatever.

Completely fine to move the schedule forward where it makes sense.
