Morweena, Manitoba - After an off-season blockbuster which saw Claude Giroux shipped off to the newly relocated Vegas Aces Wild, the Morweena Reimnoceri management team has named Shea Weber the 2nd captain in team history. The 30-year-old Weber just re-signed with Morweena for another 4 years taking a hometown discount in order to stay with the only DHL franchise he has ever known. "I couldn't be more honored to be taking over for Claude [Giroux] as the leader of this team," said Weber in a media scrum following the official press conference, "I'm eager to show the league that our loss in the finals last year was a fluke." Weber was of course referring to the heart breaking loss in the DHL Finals to the now defunct Camrillo Kings. "I look forward to getting back at it and reminding people who the real champions of this league are." Morweena's season kicks off in just under a month on the road against Dynamo Atlanta.
